While not autoclavable, polyethylene bottles have better transparancy and the softest, most pliable top. These high-quality bottles are thoughtfully designed with thin walls for the best visibility and graduation marks that are useful for pouring Drosophila media. The square bottom is designed with rounded edges, which means more surface area for fly food to form a tight seal that secures it in the bottom of the bottle making them extremely easy to use when flipping flies.
