Apex General Purpose LE agarose is a standard melting/gelling agarose suitable for a wide variety of nucleic acid and protein analytical and preparative applications using standard electrophoretic techniques. This multi-purpose agarose has a low EEO of 0.05-0.13, so macromolecules will have higher electrophoretic mobility than with other standard agaroses. This translates into shorter electrophoretic runs and sharper resolution for the user. DNA fragments purified from this agarose maintains full biological activity and can be readily digested and ligated. This agarose offers excellent gel transparency and exceptionally low absorption of staining agents. Lot to lot consistency ensures dependable, reproducible results.
