Apex Low Melt agarose has a low melting point and will remain liquid at 37oC for several hours. These properties allow users to more readily purify macromolecules from agarose slices or conduct in-gel enzymatic manipulations. This agarose produces gels of higher clarity compared to other agaroses and has a great seiving capacity. Each lot is tested for melting temperature, band resolution and enzymatic manipulation of nucleic acid in the melted gel slices.
